Osun State Election: APC Wants Court To Restrain President From Deploying Soldiers To The State

Some members of the All Progressives Congress party, APC, in Osun State have approached a Federal High Court for an injunction restraining President Jonathan from deploying military personnel to the state during the forthcoming gubernatorial election which will take place on the 9^th of August, 2014.

It has been a tug of war as the All Progressives Congress party candidate, Rauf Aregbesola ( the present Governor) has vowed that PDP will not unseat him in the state. But the candidate representing PDP in the state, Iyiola Omisore says it’s time for a change, with the president also backing his statement.
